If you're worried someone might have unauthorized access to your account, here are some things to look out for:
-
A third party has reset your password, and you received an automated email and a link to create a new password
-
You have received an automated email with a temporary PIN, but you haven't logged in from a new location. Or, you received an automated email saying that your email address has been changed.
-
Your account balance is different.
-
A new payment method has been registered.
-
There is suspicious game play in your account history
-
You have received automated emails related to transactions to/from your account (deposits, transfers, or withdrawals). If there was an unauthorized transaction, you should also receive a notification in your email inbox.
At this point, it's very important to change your password and secure access to your account.
If you are logged in to your account select 'Account' on the left-hand side of the screen, followed by 'Settings'. You can then select the 'Change password' option. You'll then be prompted to enter your current password and select a new password.
If you are not logged in or can't log in to your account, select 'Log In' in the top right corner of your screen. Here, select 'Forgotten your password?' You'll be asked to enter your registered email address and we'll email you a password reset link.
Further information.
It's very important to stay on top of your Cyber Security, especially if you hold multiple online accounts on different platforms. You should make sure that only you have access to your online profiles, on a regular basis.
We cannot be held liable if your internet security is breached, but we can help to suspend the account and prevent further activity.
Unauthorised activity on your account should also prompt you to check your overall online security, including emails, social medias, and banking applications. Be sure to use a secure password, and do not use the same password across all of your online platforms.
